Inspired by Victor Hugo’s moody, haunted landscapes, we’ll explore his techniques using sepia (coffee) washes, graphite and acrylic. Original compositions and references images will be provided.
Explore the work and techniques of French author Victor Hugo (Les Miserables, Hunchback of Notre Dame) “Astonishing Things,” on view at London’s Royal Academy of Art (through 29 June) focusing on his dramatic landscapes and experiments with abstraction.
