Holiday Card Printmaking Workshop

9 AM – 4 PM
Learn to design and print your own cards by hand using linocut printmaking techniques.
We will cover: Design considerations; Transferring your design to linoleum; Carving techniques; Inking; and Printing by hand.
LIST OF THINGS TO BRING:
Sketches or ideas for a design to fit a 4 x 5 inch size; Sketchbook or paper, and drawing supplies; Linoleum cutters or carving tools if you have them, if not, carving tools will be provided; Any other relief printmaking tools or supplies that you have and would like to bring
THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED:
10 blank notecards (4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inches); 10 matching envelopes; 2 pieces of unmounted grey linoleum (4 x 5 inches); Inks for printing (we will be using Caligo Safe Wash Relief Inks)
Fee: $15
Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. Ages 16 and older. (Students under 18 years of age must have a signed guardian permission form.)
Schedule: Morning session from 9—12; Lunch break from 12—1; Afternoon session from 1—4

2026 Sketchbook Class
Our 2026 Sketchbook Class will begin on Thursday, August 6, 2026, and continue through October 17, 2026.
Dates: August 6 through October 17, 2026
Thursdays: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Class Donation: $15.00
(cash or check payable to: The Old Stone House of Hasbrouck, Inc.)
There are a limited number of sketchbooks this year. If we have sketchbooks available at the time of your registration, we will reserve one for you. If there are no sketchbooks available, you can purchase your own and will be welcome to join our friendly group of artists
